Personal project

Heads is a series of portraits built around one simple idea: a head can say a lot before a person ever speaks.

Each character is defined through shape, texture, colour and attitude — less a realistic portrait, more a visual interpretation of personal style. Fashion becomes part of the identity, with silhouettes, details and compositions creating characters that feel distinct from one another.

The portraits are intentionally stripped down and rebuilt through a graphic, neo-cubist language. Faces become shapes, features shift and proportions are pushed to create something that sits somewhere between portraiture, illustration and fashion imagery.

The project explores identity through style: how much of a person can be expressed through the way they look, pose and carry themselves?

Independent work.
